Rama IX Bridge 拉玛九世斜拉挢
The bridge was named in honour of King Bhumibol Adulyadej's 60th birthday; the 5 December opening date coincides with the King's birthday. It was the first cable-stayed bridge in Thailand and had the second longest cable-stayed span in the world when it opened in 1987.
这座被命名为拉玛九世的斜拉挢是为了纪念泰王普密蓬阿杜德60岁生日; 12月5日的开幕日期恰逢国王的大寿。这是在泰国的第一座斜拉桥，同時也是当时1987年世界第二长的斜拉桥。
